Haiti. 34 seconds later - Photographs of Emilio and Marta Ramos Morenatti.

On January 12, 2010, the earth shook violently for 34 seconds in Haiti, one of the world's poorest countries. The earthquake, which ended the lives of 220,000 people to 2,500,000 Haitians left homeless, gave way to one of the most complex humanitarian emergencies in recent years. The collapse of local institutions and the devastation caused by the earthquake quickly mobilized international support and solidarity of citizenship, that overturned on a country that still continues in a state of humanitarian emergency. In order to not forget the plight faced by Haitians, Obra Social "la Caixa" Haiti, 34 seconds later, an extensive tour of the earthquake and its aftermath. And all through the photographs of Morenatti Emilio and Marta Ramos, Oriol Gispert documentaries, an interactive module that introduces the sample and re the seconds of the earthquake and a review of the rehabilitation projects, Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, Cruz Red, UNICEF and Caritas have been launched with the support of the Obra Social "la Caixa" and donations from caring citizens across the state.

Haiti, 34 seconds can be accessed at Caixa Forum Barcelona from 23 March to 12 June 2011. The exhibition will then travel to Madrid Caixa Forum, where on display from June 30 to October 2.
