Prieto Gallery presents Wild Decade, a celebration by CHU, DEFI, NASA, PMP and TEC, 5 personalities in the Street Art, which celebrates 10 years in Buenos Aires.

By 2001 these five artists played a leading role in the birth of Street Art in Argentina, which arises on the one hand as a means of communicating directly with the viewer in a crisis, while generating alternatives to the lack of galleries take ownership of their works. While the intervention of public space was always somehow present, from that crisis, street art boomed, with group activities who managed to impose a new message and a new way of doing things. Through self-management, without even considering the possibility of state aid, these guys took to painting and painting, for the sheer pleasure of it and to energize the walls of the city and the people context. They felt that the contribution should be individualized to become collective, just so they could save all the suffocating social gray. And spontaneously animals, friends and the street became the material from which this movement (which condenses illustration, motion graphic, music and experimentation) expresses his explosions of color and their constant search for reaction. His

arts education has roots in graphic design, architecture, skate and urban culture. Evolving range between analog and digital world with total familiarity, using different materials to express their ideas. You can see his art, at once somber and positive, full of symbolism, on walls, racks, clothes, objects and publications. His works are characterized by the cross between abstraction and large characters, using vibrant colors and love to find balance within the chaos. And although his natural environment is the street, his work is enhanced when its many creations are presented, as in this case, for the second time in a gallery.

With over 10 years of experience, the movement matured and CHU, DEFI, NASA, PMP and TEC have already had the opportunity to be invited as independent artists in action and shows in major institutions and festivals in various cities around the world ... St. Paul, Montreal, Berlin, Barcelona, \u200b\u200bNew York, Lima, Quito, Tel Aviv, Los Angeles, Portland, among others.

This time, the party is in Buenos Aires! More info
