Following several requests, and more or less veiled criticism, we would like to highlight once again the history of intervention in the former Ferretti, in order to clarify and dispel any doubts on the work of our Administration.
On 04/10/2002 (about 45 days before the election took place on 26/27 May), the then Directors of the Northern League, with Resolution No. 35 final approval of the entire Integrated Plan intervention at the Civic Center area that included former Ferretti:
- construction of 4 residential buildings on eight floors
- mall of about 2000 square meters.;
- convention center of 700 seats;
- multistorey car park on the back of the City;
- two bridges to connect the square to the square of the Freedom Conference Centre.
All approved without taking no account of the various comments to the Plan submitted by the opposition "Together for Nembro" in the persons of Perico Simonetta, Swarm Audenzio, Birolini Ferdinando, and Rota Sergio Alberto Bergamelli and by DELESCO Nembro - ASCOM - European Dealers - Confesercenti.
You're never fully understood why so urgent intervention of an approval for the Community that would have been the high cost both financially and in terms of environment.
Therefore one of the first actions of the Administration of Country Living (which took office after the elections of 26/27 May 2002) was to review, as far as possible, the project and agree with the Real Estate San Michele a few changes.
What have we changed compared to previous arrangements:
- the elimination of the Convention Center and the square in front;
- Park Round has not been touched, but instead will be extended to 2,000 sqm.;
- was eliminated a food commercial structure of 2,000 square meters.;
- have been included 1,000 square meters. For business or hotel accommodation.
What has remained unchanged: - the multistorey car park behind the Town Hall Square with its overhanging;
- the walkway / pedestrian and cycle bridge which connects the square with the Freedom Park and Round the light of the tramway station ;
- the volume residential
- the commercial area, but will not be food grade and other stores
What we avoided:
- expenditure of 3 billion lire for the construction of the rustic conference center, for which we must add to complete as many;
- weakening commercial structure detail in the center of our country;
- the reduction of the Park Rotondo.

As for the 4 buildings of 8 floors, despite having negotiated with the owners, nothing has been done. So we had to resign ourselves to projects approved by the previous Administration that were already in their hands.
We as a country that we live longer so you could not get, except suffer the consequences in terms of cost to our community.
